Corresponding Notes is a series of texts made whilst writer in residence at Grand Union, Feb - Apr 2019.

As the exhibition drye eyes by Lauren Gault manipulated, confused and expanded definitions of seeing, each note forms a correspondence between text and surface that affects, disturbs or alters the experience of reading.

This work attempted to bring together forms of writing that do not usually sit together. In-between writing and material, the texts approach different starting points and and can be read out of order or in dialogue with the exhibition.
